This is a beautiful book, full of reassurance, poems, aphorisms, suggestions of things to do when feeling low, and lots and lots of pictures to colour and pages and pages of journal. It will be the ideal present for a child with low self-esteem or one who worries excessively. Combining the recent interest in 'adult' colouring books and the need to write down one's feelings, it could well provide a lifeline to a child or teenager with real angst. A nicely produced, fat paperback, the creative ideas in this book show us ways to contain our worries; the book will also give hours of solitary pleasure in being able to create beauty and meaning in the process of drawing and writing about our own emotions.
