Geraldine pig does not like new brother Willie. She wears earmuffs so she can't hear his constant crying, and she is rude to visitors and her family. She grumbles her way through her bath, refuses dinner and goes to bed early. Then in the night, she wakes to hear Willie moving about in his cot. When she goes to see about him, he doesn't cry, and she quite enjoys watching him. She decides to read stories to him and is found next morning sound asleep in the chair in his room. Subtle and funny.
