Little Nicky rabbit wakes up screaming 'H-E-E-L-L-L-P' one night. His mum comes running, and his four brothers and sisters cower as Nicky describes being chased by a hundred wolves. Mum manages to whittle the number down to five wolves and turns off the light, saying it was only a nightmare. When all the bunnies convince themselves they are surrounded by wolves, mum goes outside and pretends to chase them away with her broom. Wonderfully funny pictures of wolves abound - wolves on motorbikes, wolves as pirates, wolves in a balloon. The smashing illustrations and clever story puts nightmare fears nicely in perspective. Excellent!
