This clever little board book for the very young will appeal to youngsters just beginning the process of toilet training. In rhyming couplets we meet the Superhero, dressed in proper superhero gear, and learn that he is 'trying something new'. His friendly pet dog supports him through the process, including encouraging him to use the potty. This he finds boring to do in the beginning, and would far rather be playing. But after an 'accident' he realizes that he needs to learn some patience. The American term 'pants' will be understandable if a little unusual to the British child, but may well make the story just that bit more interesting. Jolly and fun.
