Photographs, speech bubbles and basic text show us a little girl going to the dentist. She and mum meet the receptionist and enjoy toys in the waiting room before seeing the dentist. Mr Dill shows the little girl his special chair and light and some of his tools. Then he checks her teeth, cleans them, and shows her how to brush properly. She gets a sticker and a new toothbrush and makes a new appointment for six months. There is a half page of notes for adults to help them use the book.
